Family life is busy, noisy, messy and full of fleeting moments. My approach to family photography is simple. Slow things down just enough to notice the magic, then capture it as it naturally unfolds.

I specialise in relaxed, child-led family photography across Horsham and West Sussex, creating images that feel honest, playful and full of connection. Whether we head outdoors to your favourite place or stay close to home, my sessions are designed to feel like time together, not a photoshoot.

Shine Family Sessions

Family photos should feel like your family, not a version of you trying to behave for the camera.

Shine Family Sessions are gently guided, natural photography sessions that focus on connection, movement and real moments. There is no pressure to sit still or smile on demand. Children are free to explore, play and be themselves while I capture the moments that matter.

Out and about together

Outdoor family sessions are perfect if you love being out in nature or feel most yourselves when you are on the move. We might wander through woodland, walk along the beach, explore open fields or visit a place that means something to your family.

Beautiful landscapes, changing seasons and natural light create a relaxed backdrop that allows children to lead the way. These sessions are full of movement, curiosity and laughter, with plenty of space for those in-between moments that often become favourites.

Family at home

Home sessions are just as special. Your home is where your family feels most comfortable, and that shows in your photos.

Whether it’s cuddles on the sofa, reading stories, baking together or simply being in your everyday space, photographing your family at home allows everyone to relax completely. There is no need to tidy perfectly or change how you live. The familiar surroundings help children feel safe and settled, resulting in images that feel deeply personal and full of warmth.
