West Sussex, Billie brings together a love of flowers with a strong design eye, shaped by years working as a graphic designer.

A Small Business Guided by Design and Creativity

Billie’s journey into the world of floral brand storytelling began after the birth of her son, when she found herself searching for a new sense of purpose. Just three months postpartum, she attended her first day back at college to train as a florist, chasing a childhood dream. Alongside larger wedding and event work, she also creates hand-tied bouquets and arrangements for gifting, perfect for moments that deserve something special, or simply ‘just because’.

What It Felt Like to Photograph Billie

Photographing Billie felt like catching up with a mum friend. We connected over tea, tiredness, and the shared reality of motherhood. Our approach to this creative branding session felt completely aligned, from allowing the mess of flower cuttings to be part of the story to letting blooms soften the images as they drifted into the frame.

Even though it was the first time we had properly met in person, it felt easy and familiar. Seeing everything we had planned through mood boards and conversations come together so naturally was a real joy. It’s a perfect example of why personal branding photography for florists works best when we lean into the authentic, ‘unpolished’ moments of the craft.
