Meet Sarah

Sarah is a counsellor based in Horsham who offers a supportive and accepting space for people to explore their thoughts, feelings and relationships. Her journey into counselling began around seven years ago when she enrolled on her first training course and quickly realised she had found the work she truly wanted to do.

A Small Business Focused on Relationships and Wellbeing

Sarah works primarily with people who are experiencing challenges within their relationships, whether with family members, friends or partners. She also supports individuals navigating separation or divorce. Her approach is person centred, meaning she follows the client’s lead and adapts to what feels most important for them to explore. Alongside her private practice, she works part time for a mental health charity supporting individuals who may be taking their first steps towards improving their wellbeing.

What It Felt Like to Photograph Sarah

Photographing Sarah felt calm and easy from the start. She is warm, friendly and very easy to talk to, which creates a natural sense of ease in the room. She had a clear sense of the kind of images she wanted but was also open to ideas and suggestions, listening carefully and responding naturally to gentle guidance. The whole session felt collaborative and relaxed, which made it a real pleasure to capture her and the work she is building.
