Secrets of Slumber is a dedicated baby and infant sleep coaching business supporting families with children ranging from newborns up to four years old. Lauren’s professional goal is wonderfully simple: to help tired parents get better sleep, feel more like themselves again, and truly enjoy the early years of family life. Before launching her coaching business, Lauren worked in fast-paced TV production before building a successful ten-year career in corporate HR and employee wellbeing.

From Real Personal Experience to Supporting Hundreds of Families

The concept for Secrets of Slumber came from Lauren’s own personal parenting experience. After working closely with a baby sleep coach and seeing the total transformation in her own family’s sleep patterns, she decided to retrain as a qualified baby and infant sleep coach while on maternity leave.

Three years later, she has supported hundreds of families, helping many achieve massive improvements in their sleep within just a single week. Alongside her direct work with parents, Lauren also partners with corporate organisations to support working families through interactive sleep workshops, employee clinics, and one-to-one coaching as part of corporate parental wellbeing programmes. Photographing Lauren felt incredibly special because over the last year she has become a genuine friend. We first met through local business networking, and being trusted to tell the visual story of a friend’s business always feels like an immense privilege.

Because we had spent so much time carefully planning every detail over lunch, the session felt completely relaxed and purposeful. Seeing those lifestyle photographs now being used across Lauren’s website and marketing materials has been such a joy.
